CENSUS 2010 Quality Assurance PSA

The following link provides a PSA for the 2010 Census Quality Assurance operation.  This operation involves a census enumerator phoning or visiting a small sample of households to double-check on the accuracy of the data they provided and make sure that we are getting a complete picture of everyone living in the household.  Your cooperation is appreciated.

LaGrange Community Day is June 12th!!

LaGrange Community Day is Saturday, June 12th! Please come and join in the festivities starting at noon.  Activities include Community Service booths, Food and Beverages, DJ-Music by Frances, Obstacle Course with bouncy slide, Dunking Booth, Petting Zoo, Rascal the Pony rides, Tippy Canoe the clown and games and contests with prizes.

Musical groups include Titusville Intermediate School with Dan Shorstein, Noxon Rd and West Rd Schools Advanced Orchestras, LaGrange Elementary School’s Camerata Singers, Union Vale Middle School String Ensemble, Arlington High School String Ensemble, LaGrange Middle School Jazz Band, Music by the Chain Gang and Music by Rendition.

Fireworks begin at 9:40pm followed by an Encore Performance by Rendition. We hope to see you there!

LaGrange Historic Home & Garden Tour – 6/19/10

LaGrange Historic Home & Garden Tour – Saturday  June 19, 2010 – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

 Several Historic Homes will be featured along with some beautiful gardens.

 Ticket will be available the day of the tour at the Freedom Plains Presbyterian Church located at the corner of Route 55 and Stringham Road.

Blood Drive

New York Blood Center will be holding a blood drive at the Town of LaGrange Town Hall on Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Help Needed on Vail Road

Unidentified parties have been regularly dumping trash including bags containing soiled adult diapers along Vail Rd.

The NY State Police are investigating these incidents which are distastful at best and a possible public health hazzard.
